Valentine Heart

Love is in the air! Love CRAFTS, that is! What could be easier than this project…buy a glittery Valentine Heart wreath from your favorite craft store and add a bow! I chose a red checked ribbon and added a narrow white ribbon accent.

Wow – that’s it! See what I mean – you gotta love this easy Valentine Heart.  <3

Christmas Wreath

Creating a wreath for your door is not too difficult. Here is our Christmas Wreath, made in much the same way as our Autumn Wreath.  Using a purchased wreath, floral picks, ribbon, and a hot glue gun, you can festive-up your entryway in no time at all. My color theme for this Wreath is gold, but traditional red and green also turn out very nice.

Mother/Daughter Christmas Aprons

Here we are in our Mother/Daughter Christmas Aprons after a long day of COOKING. We used a smock pattern and contrasted the colors rather than make them identical.  The front panel at the waist is really a pocket, and we used Velcro at the neck in the back. Mother can put hers on and take it off because of the Velcro. I think our Mother/Daughter Christmas Aprons turned out great!

We had so much fun making the Aprons that we have decided to make Christmas Aprons every year. So if you are a-cookin’ at my house on Christmas – plan to make an Apron! Hopefully, next year Daughter Amanda and Granddaughter will be making Mother/Daughter Christmas Aprons as well.  🙂

The Holidays are a time for reflection and thinking about family. The last few years have been difficult for our family because of illness and my Father’s passing. But through it all, we have held onto one another. Mother and I have spent a lot more time together, sewing, shopping, cooking, and just talking. It is good to see her smile and laugh. Doesn’t she look beautiful in her new apron? Creativity really does mend the soul…

Free Printable: Alphabet Bunting Flags

It’s BIRTHDAY month around here at sEaMcRaZy! January is chock full of  birthdays and to celebrate, we have a free printable of ALPHABET BUNTING FLAGS for you.  Our bunting has blue letters on a white background with multi-colored spots. Festive and FREE!

To make a cheery bunting garland for your next birthday celebration, print out the pdf using “actual size” setting.  Card stock is usually the best; typing paper is OK but it won’t hold up all day outside. It is certainly OK for inside. As a matter of fact, sEaMcRaZy Husband’s birthday was today and his bunting has been hanging all day long. After printing, cut out each bunting flag triangle and punch holes in top of flag corners. Then, thread ribbon, yarn, or string though the holes. Hang and enjoy!

Bunting flags included:

> Alphabet A-Z

> Blank flag

> Symbols: =, @, +, &

> Numbers: 1-21, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80
